The Story behind Our Arbor Hills Barbershop

Gambuzza’s Barbershop is the result of two salon-industry icons teaming up for an exciting new venture. Award-winning barber and nationally renowned stylist Frank Gambuzza along with Sport Clips Haircuts founder and Chairman, Gordon Logan created a modern take on the traditional barbershop. You’ll find classic cuts and precision skills paired with modern men’s styles and premium products.

Using an exclusive line of high-performance products formulated by Gambuzza himself, the innovative family-friendly barbershop offers a fresh new choice for haircuts and shaving services in Arbor Hills. Two Minds, One Amazing Barbershop

Learn more about Gambuzza’s Barbershop co-founders and industry recognized Frank Gambuzza and Gordon Logan below.

Frank Gambuzza

At age 13, young Frank Gambuzza became an apprentice to an Italian barber in New Jersey, beginning a lifelong career that includes 22 national barbering championships. He and his wife, Belinda, opened a salon in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1985, and it quickly became a success, growing to employ more than 100 salon professionals. He also served as president of Intercoiffure North America, an elite organization of top salons.

Frank is regularly recognized among the top stylists in the country by leading publications, including Self Magazine and Sophisticate’s Hairstyle Guide. His experience and skill make him a sought-after educator for both stylists and salon owners, and he has taught classes and seminars throughout the U.S. and nine other countries.

Gordon Logan

In the early 1990s, visionary Gordon Logan identified a gap in the market of men’s and boys’ haircuts and developed the industry-disrupting concept of Sport Clips Haircuts. His innovative model incorporated new haircutting systems, marketing programs, and operating procedures aimed at the large, underserved audience. Gordon’s years of previous franchising experience helped him and his top management team launch Sport Clips quickly, then expand in a rapid yet controlled manner.

Gordon has served on the VFW Foundation Board since 2011, an arm of the organization dedicated to charitable efforts for active duty servicemen, servicewomen, and veterans, and in 2013 he was honored with the VFW Citizenship Award. Under his leadership, Sport Clips has raised more than $8 million for scholarships for veterans transitioning to civilian careers.

From 2013 to 2019, Gordon served on the International Franchise Association (IFA) board. He currently serves on the IFA Foundation and VetFran Committee boards. In 2020, Gordon was honored with the IFA’s Hall of Fame Award. Entrepreneur of the Year.
